got this from Yahoo.com..
TEN QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD NEVER ASK AT A JOB INTERVIEW

Circuit City held a job fair for its former employees Here are some tips that might move you to the front of the line or at least keep you away from the rear.

1.) WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO? You should already know. Do the research before you go in. At the very least, you should know what the company does and who its competitors are.

2.) ARE YOU GOING TO DO A BACKGROUND CHECK? Worried theyll find something? If you're asking, you probably should be.

3.) WHEN WILL I GET A RAISE? Wait at least until your second interview, and then ask if the company has annual salary reviews.

4.) ARE THERE ANY BETTER JOBS AVAILABLE? Don't take yourself out of the running for the job. You applied for this one. If youre qualified for a better gig do the research and apply for that one if it is available.

5.) HOW SOON CAN I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER POSITION? See number 4. Employers generally wait at least a year before approving transfers.

6.) CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE BUS LINES TO YOUR OFFICE? What? Thats a YPNOTTP-your problem, not their problem. Not too sharp. Research it for yourself.

7.) DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING BREAKS? Many companies don't allow smoking anywhere on the grounds. Don't go there or they might look at someone else.

8.) IS MY MEDICAL CONDITION COVERED UNDER YOU INSURANCE? Get the job first.

9.) WILL I HAVE TO TAKE A DRUG TEST? See 2 above.

10.) IF YOU HIRE ME, CAN I START IN A MONTH? Most employers will want you in 2 weeks, maybe sooner. Again, wait until you get offered the job.
