  • GEDDY LEE GAVE CREW CARTE BLANCHE FOR DOC.
When Rush was out on their 2007 Snakes & Arrows tour, some members of their crew decided to film aspects of the trek. That footage has since been edited together into a documentary called Backstage Secrets. Singer Geddy Lee told us once the band approved the film, it was all in the hands of their techs to do as they wanted with the project.
“I left it totally up to the crew. When they approached us about it, I said, ‘It’s not about me, it’s about my guys.’ So I said to the guys, ‘Look, these guys want to do this kind of show, here’s what they’ve done in the past, totally, 100 percent your decision, yes or no.’ And I just left them to it and they decided to go ahead with it. I look at it like their movie, not mine, it had nothing to do with me.”

You can see clips from the five-part, five-hour long film on YouTube by searching for “Rush Concert Tech Documentary.”
  • FOGHAT DRUMMER TALKS ABOUT FALL
Foghat drummer Roger Earl and “Humpty Dumpty” have something in common – they both had a great fall. The rocker’s happened last Halloween and for the first time, he’s talking about it. Roger told Classic Rock Revisited that while checking his drums before the show, he stepped on what he thought was the stage. However, nothing was there and Earl fell, hitting his head and back, then breaking the fall with his right arm. Roger wound up breaking his collarbone and fracturing his spine. He’s okay now but you can read about the whole ordeal in the interview section of ClassicRockRevisited.com.

  • Richmond Baseball
The minor leagues power people have made it clear that w/o a new stadium there will be no team in Richmond. My question to you is...Actually, I have a couple... Baseball in Richmond yes? no? Downtown stadium or rebuild at the Diamond? How often would you realistically go to games? Let us know.

  • All Junior!
I think Junior is to blame if anyone. At first I would say it's just racing, but Junior never seemed to let up even once he got below the yellow line. And with all those other racers behind you it's pretty stupid to give someone a fender like that. Plus I've always thought Junior was a little of a hot head on the track and he's definitely a little overrated for all the publicity he gets. He's no where as good as his dad was!
  • 500-who's to blame?
Hi Sam. Nascar is doing their typical job of implying rules are for some of the drivers and not all. Jr. was mad that he made two pit road mistakes. Jr chose to take it out on Brian Vickers during the race. His comment that Brian saw him coming, implied that Brian should have just moved out of his way. Who does Jr. think he is? It's racing --

Plus the fact that Nascar did nothing when Jr.'s immature move took out possible race winners Kyle Busch and/or Carl Edwards. Like Brian Vickers stated, during the Nationwide race the same move was done and the driver was held for 5 laps -- why did they do nothing during the Sprint Cup race?

This immature move could really have hurt some drivers.. Wake up Nascar -- stick to your rules and regulations during the race --
    Thanks
  • Daytona 500-Who's to blame?
In the big Daytona 500 wreck, who's to blame...Junior, Vickers or, "That's just racin'."
  • (from the show 2/4/09) Interview questions you should never ask...
    got this from Yahoo.com..
TEN QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD NEVER ASK AT A JOB INTERVIEW

Circuit City held a job fair for its former employees… Here are some tips that might move you to the front of the line…or at least keep you away from the rear.

1.) WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO? You should already know. Do the research before you go in. At the very least, you should know what the company does and who its competitors are.

2.) ARE YOU GOING TO DO A BACKGROUND CHECK? Worried they’ll find something? If you're asking, you probably should be.

3.) WHEN WILL I GET A RAISE? Wait at least until your second interview, and then ask if the company has annual salary reviews.

4.) ARE THERE ANY BETTER JOBS AVAILABLE? Don't take yourself out of the running for the job. You applied for this one. If you’re qualified for a better gig do the research and apply for that one…if it is available.

5.) HOW SOON CAN I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER POSITION? See number 4. Employers generally wait at least a year before approving transfers.

6.) CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE BUS LINES TO YOUR OFFICE? What? That’s a “YPNOTTP-your problem, not their problem.” Not too sharp. Research it for yourself.

7.) DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING BREAKS? Many companies don't allow smoking anywhere on the grounds. Don't go there or they might look at someone else.

8.) IS MY MEDICAL CONDITION COVERED UNDER YOU INSURANCE? Get the job first.

9.) WILL I HAVE TO TAKE A DRUG TEST? See 2 above.

10.) IF YOU HIRE ME, CAN I START IN A MONTH? Most employers will want you in 2 weeks, maybe sooner. Again, wait until you get offered the job.
