Last fall, 22-year-old Julia Popova, who lives in Moscow, Russia, was on her way home from work when she was violently attacked by an unidentified man. She fought back, but the guy got away with her purse anyway. But check this out ... After the attack, Julia walked to her parents' house... and only then did she realize she had been stabbed AND that the knife was still stuck in the back of her NECK! Julia was rushed to the hospital where doctors removed the six-inch blade. She stayed for ten days and didn't suffer any long-term damage. Which is amazing, considering the knife only missed her spinal cord by a fraction of an inch. Apparently, her mind protected her, according to a medic who treated Julia, "Shock had kicked in, and her body prevented her from feeling any pain. She simply walked home without feeling the knife in her back."

Here's the photo.
