Ah, the pressure... Will my dog be on the list or not? The "List" is the American Kennel Club's annual list of the ten most popular DOG BREEDS, based on pet registration statistics from last year. To tell the truth. I always hope my dog's not on the list. The more popular a dog is the more likely it'll be overbred. Which as you can guess is not good for the breed. Alas, my two dogs are Golden Retrievers and here they are at number 4.
