Freakin' Tall
The definition of "tall" has just changed. Yesterday in Dubai officials opened the world's NEW tallest building . . . a 168-story skyscraper called the Burj Khalifa.
This big-boy is massive. It stands 2,717 feet tall...that's more than HALF A MILE tall, and is nearly twice the size of the 1,450-foot Willis Tower in Chicago(you know it better as the Sears Tower).
"Big Burj" is also more than 1,000 feet taller than its closest competitor, the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan.
